First I want to congratulate you for the excellent work.

    I'm building (Mini Project 3DOF with 3 Micro Servo Motors S9 SG90).

My goal is to better understand SIMTOOLS SOFTWARE, so that later I can build a 3DOF Simulator Platform with motors larger than 12 Volts or 24 Volts.

I'm a beginner, I need your help to complete my project.

I am very grateful for all the help and collaboration.

    Nice job :thumbs

When you say it does not work have you checked things like the Com Port being correct?

Is the computer set to English Local: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-language-setting-bug-change-to-english-local.233/

What other trouble shooting have you tried?

You do need to correctly set up Interface Settings and Axis Assignments as per the following -

    R<Axis1a>~L<Axis2a>~B<Axis3a>~

Grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

Dir boxes being checked orange or not determine which way each axis moves, this is what SimTools expects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

You can go a little over but be mindful that total Axis Assignment should be around 100%, to avoid clipping: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

Once you have the basics sorted, an verified in Output Testing, you can move on to game testing.

LFS needs to be run before it is patched for motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...run-in-first-person-mode-before-patching.365/

Then see the motion profile tuning tips in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

    Thanks for replying noorbeast.

Sorry for not knowing where I should post my questions correctly.

    I have the same problem.
The 3 Micro Motors SG90 do not move, as the settings are as you indicated.
    But it still doesn't work.

    I really need your help.

We can make a remote connection to my PC through the Teamviewer software.
    Follow the download link.

    Thank you for your attention.

    1) I installed Emulator Locale to change the language to English.

2nd) I corrected the parameter you indicated.
    R<Axis1a>~L<Axis2a>~B<Axis3a>~

3rd) I ran the LFS Game and played a full game and then installed the Plugin.

    4) I am sending the images for you to analyze.

    5) Thanks for all the help.

    Hi all.
    I warn you, I'm a beginner!
Do your motors move when you make your settings in SMC3?

    Could you explain me better?
Could you please send a practical example of this?

Teste de Saida 2DOF Virtual Sim.jpg

    Hi Noobest.

Here is a screenshot of my test output, through Virtual Sim Software.
The Software (Virtual Sim 2DOF) running the commands of the Software (Simtools) and recognizing all the commands in the (Exit Test), I was very happy to learn how to configure the Virtual Simulator, they work perfectly.
But when I perform the (Output Test) with the 3 S9 SG90 Micro Servo Motors, they do not move.
    I still don't know what's going on.
    I really need your help.

Best go through each step carefully checking everything.

Can you please re-downlowd the Arduino code, make sure the Arduino IDE is properly configured for the correct Arduino model and Com Port, then reflash the code.

Uninstall SimTools, download SimTools again and reinstall it, make sure anti-virus and firewall are temporarily deactivated during the install and that your computer is set to English Local.

Properly reconfigure SimTools, including checking the correct Com Port for the new code.

    Try Output Testing.

    Thank you very much Noobest.

The 3 Micro Servo Motors are now working.

The error was in the Arduino Code, but I have already corrected the Code.

    It's working now, thanks.

I need your help to configure the Axes in the best possible way for 3DOF.

I need some links with 3DOF examples with 3 SG90 Micro Servo Motors.

Through these 3DOF Examples with 3 SG90 Micro Servo Motors, I can create my 3DOF Mini Platform, exactly with 3 SG90 Micro Servo Motors.

Could you please send me some 3DOF Micro Servo SG90 Examples Link?

My Mini Simulator Project with 3 SG90 Micro Servo Motors.

2 SG90 Micro Servo Motors, is located on the front of my Mini Platform.
It is used to perform the left or right turn movements through the (ROLL) settings in (Axis1a) and (Axis2a).

Also the same 2 SG90 Micro Servo Motors, serves to carry out the acceleration task of lifting the 2 Axes Together (Axis1a) and (Axis2a), through the settings (PITCH) in (Axis1a) and (Axis2a), exactly to give the sensation forward acceleration or vehicle braking.
The 2 Axes (Axis1a) and (Axis2a), work together through the command (PITCH) directing the axes together up or down, giving the vehicle's acceleration and braking sensation.

As for the third SG90 Micro Servo Motor, I intend to make the platform perform a small movement, on the back of the 3DOF platform. Giving the feeling that the vehicle is playing the background to the Left or to the Right.

The third SG90 Micro Servo Motor is located on the back of the Mini Platform.

This third SG90 Micro Servo Motor, I want to perform a small Turn from the back of the Platform to the Left and Right side, giving the feeling that it is throwing the vehicle's bottom to the Left or Right.

Sorry I don't have any handy links to micro servo project configurations, try the Custom Google Search option on the Recent page to find such projects.

Just some clarification about axis settings, the primary axis used for turns is sway, not roll, though both share the same axis they are configured differently. Sway should be set to lean away from a corner and roll Dir settings should be set opposite to those of sway.

Similarly, for breaking and accelerate the primary axis is surge, it uses the pitch axis but is configured independent of pitch.

Grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

And see the FAQ motion profile tuning tips: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

This is how SimTools expects axis to be configured: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

Surge can be further refined in the Tuning Center settings to give a gear change kick: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/snappy-gear-change-motion.121/

Noobest, obrigado por toda a ajuda.

I'm starting my Real project now.

3DOF Simulation Platform with 12 or 24 volt gearmotor.

    I bought 2 Sources (DeLL Server) 12Vots 750w and 62A.

I am sending you a photograph of the DeLL Source.

I would love to know what would be the best gearmotor for my 3DOF Project.

    I need the best gearmotor.

I need all the information possible regarding the best Gearmotor.

I will look for a Gearmotor that you will recommend me with the best possible settings.

I cannot make that mistake of buying the wrong Gearmotor.

    Required Information:

    1) Input Speed =
    2) Output Speed =
    3) Torque =
    4) Motor Power 200w, 300w or 350w =
    5) Amperage = 10Amper, 20Amper or 30Amper =
    6) Size of the Gearbox Example:
    NMRV 30, NMRV 40, NMRV 50
    7) Other Information:

Thank you Noobeste for the Gearmotor Indication.
