Do you have the motor and electronics hooked up yet?

    Hello,

After a few small parts were missing, I now wired the electronics and the engine. On the first try, the power was set too high and a monster motor burned out. With the right attitude, as described by smc3, everything worked and the engine runs.

Now I only need the levers on the motors, the holders for the pots and the software simtooos with license.

It was a bit of time for flying with x-plane lost.

    Greeting Dirk

This weekend I want to finish my lever. I bought two clamping rings and flat steel. I hope that the seat then moves as expected.

    Hello

Since I did the theory training in the last weeks for the real UL (LSA) pilot licenc, I did not have much time for the simulator.

The levers are almost done now. I welded the holders for the potentiometers. Only the push rods made of M8 threaded rods are too soft.

Now the x-plane software is still missing. Where can I get the x-plane plug in software?

    Hello,

Both engines are running now. After a long test, I found a defective monster motor driver.

The cables are still laid clean.

The push rod from engine to frame in M8 is too soft.

Simtools only runs in DEMO mode?
Where can I enter my license code?
Is the X-plane plugin also available for free?

    greeting

    Are your SimTools Interface settings like this;

    [A<Axis1a>][B<Axis2a>]
    Set for 10bit binary output

    Baud rate 500000 , N , 8 , 1 (10ms delay)

    Hello,
    I already had these attitudes.

After changing the language to English (US) simtools works.
Is the update to 225 the language bug (simtools bug) fixed?

Now the plugins for x-plane and I can go.

With hall sensors, your motors will be smoother and more position accurate. In case you have normal pots...

About to order my rod ends for a project similar to yours. Are you saying there is too much flex in the M8 rod? Think an M10 rod would do?
    Thanks.

It is easy to make a suitable strong rod using steel tube with the appropriately sized nut welded either end.

    noorbeast was faster.

I will replace or reinforce my threaded rods against steel pipes.

The error with the rough run, I have also found.

I connected the potentiometers directly to the motor shaft. It caused vibration. Had the same with hall sensors.

    Hello,

the hard engine did not come through the potentiometer but from a high PWM min. Value. I have 10 now. Behold, the engines are running softer.

I have shaft couplings mounted on the pots.

    Settings for x-plane:
When I control slowly with x-plane roll and pitch and the plane rises slightly or flies a flat turn, the seat does not respond.

During fast movements of the aircraft, the seat also reacts. After a few turns, does the seat and plane have a different inclination in the game?

How do I have to set the values for extra 1-3 in the tuning center (xsim V2.2)?

    thank you for your help
