Hi All, here I share my dream racing sim rig DIY build... a 6 DoF Steward platform base...

Here I share the arduino code. My revision with some additional codes filters out the ringing hunting PWM noise on my motor during idle. It is very very silent now.
Here I share the full assembly 3D CAD design files. When you use it, please credit me @BOSeTAMPER as the original creator.

• 6 of E30-400 24V Brushed Electric Motor
• 3 of DC 12V~48V 100A High Power H-bridge dual channel DC Motor Drive Module Board
• 3 of small fans for the heatsink on the motor driver
• 2 of USB hub (one the base and one on the frame)
• A lot of Clip-on Ferrite Ring Core Noise Filter (on every USB cable and Encoder cable)
• 1 of Adafruit Motor Shield V2
• 2 of Brushed Vibration Motor DC (for pedal rumble effect)
• 1 of Nobsound Mini Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier
• 1 of Aurasound AST-2B-4 Pro Bass Shaker

• 6 of Harmonic Drive 1:50 PG32 for 14mm input shaft for 86mm stepper motor (extremely low backlash and extremely quiet... love it!) and I add motor mounting adaptor for the DC motor
• 12 of 3/4” Heim Joint Rod End Kit,.750" Chromoly Heim Joints Panhard Rod End Kit
• 6 of 12" DP Braided Tubing Dia 1" x 1.25", wall thickness 0.125" (Carbo fiber! Very cool looking)
• 6 of Heavy Duty Leveling feet 3.14" Dia Base

• 6 of 2 feet Square steel tubes
• 1 of 0.25" thick base steel plate
• 6 of 0.25" thick wall steel plate

Can you tell us about the code to remove motor noise when the motors are stationary ?

How does the heatsink work on the motor drivers ?

Thanks! Exactly, I want a compact build. Originally for go-kart setup.

I just added the code on the post, see on the top link.

The heatsink is fine (not that concerning the hot level). I add a small fan just for extra precaution.
I do have 1 lemon board though, just a warning. I checked the solder quality on that particular one is just way low quality (should not passed if the manufacture is actually test it).

What a great design. No wasted space and obviously well thought out in advance. IMO it's the perfect size for a 6DOF. Are you going to share the plans and drawings?
Which planetary specifically are you using. there are 4 choices for the 50:1 gearbox.

Do you use any protection against reverse currents ?

I do not.
The power supply able to handle the load from the motor driver very well. I never get any power lost at all, ever. Works well and simpler built.

By the way, I just tried the SMC3 code you made, and it had a positive impact on my setup. There used to be a buzzing sound coming from the motor, but now it's much quieter!

Exactly, especially when you increase the PWMmin — it gets noisier when under load during standby. btw, Keren banget rig nya! It's hard to find that item in Indonesia.

I never really able to measure the weight, but if I ballpark it, about 150-200lbs in total.

FYI, while my current mounting is AL60601 cnc made, I tested with FDM 3D 3dprint and it works well.
