@yobuddy - I thought I saw somewhere that there may be tweaks or changes needed to plugins to get proper Game Vibe support. Am I remembering that correctly or just imagining it?

If so, just a shout out to all the plugin developers, could you possibly add a speed output (if you don't already) so Game Dash can control wind generators?

Was just thinking as long as (if... if...) plugin folks had to go head down again, it might be a good time to add that.

Is there a way to save tuning settings within one game? When I fly Aerofly FS2 the tuning I want for a Cessna is very different to that for a fast jet.

    Hi @Spit40,
With the Game Mangers > Profile Editor, you can adjust the Min / Max values live by up to 50% (with multiple profiles per game).

Let's say you had a 6/-6 for the Min/Max for Sway.
You turn the Game Mangers > Profile Editor > Sway slider all the way up (making it more sensitive), the new values for Sway are actually 3/-3.

In contrast, if you turn the Game Mangers > Profile Editor > Sway slider all the way down (making it less sensitive), the new values for Sway are actually 9/-9.
I hope that makes sense .

Could you show me the settings you are using for each plane buddy?
    See what we can do...

    Take care,
    yobuddy

Ah, so that's what those sliders do! Thanks @yobuddy and I can see how I can save variations. Thanks also @noorbeast - that graphic is nice and confirms I've got the right idea on this stuff. I can see the logic now of using the force mapping for rig specific parameters and the tuning/profile editor for individual vehicle specific tunings.

As for the settings I'm currently using I've decided to bin them all and start again. I do everything in VR and it felt OK ish, but when I took the headset off and watched what was going on in 2D I can see a lot of room for improvement. I still get washout wierdness when the plane is on the ground. A tight turn say throws a strong lateral force and the washout return takes forever to centre it so I'm keeled over for minutes. Could be a logic problem as though the washout return is washing out the actual force values (which have gone way beyond the tuning centre clipping) rather than the clipped and actually experienced DOF values so it takes ages before the washout has an effect that you experience.
