Hi, I'm raven and I'm from Emilia Romagna, I wanted to design and build my first simulator too but I can't configure it, it moves but not as it should go. I only go left and right, it doesn't go in other directions like forward or backward.
I ask you how I could set it correctly, I have attached some photos to give you an idea of what it is like.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
    Regards.

The Dir box being checked orange or not determines which way each axis moves, for example sway should be set to lean away from a corner and roll is set opposite of sway, this is what SimTools expects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

Grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

Setup a Default profile in Axis Assignments and check that it is set to move correctly in Output Testing.

Once correctly set you can clone the Default profile for each game and tweak it as necessary, see the motion profile tuning tips in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/
