Your question has already been addressed in my previous advice: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...nd-windows-utilities.4957/page-96#post-207948

And as per previous advice there are no "magic numbers" to configure SMC3, as it is very much hardware dependent: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...nd-windows-utilities.4957/page-96#post-207981

As per the SMC3 instructions: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/#post-48121

PWMrev This is the PWM duty cycle that is used to drive the motors in reverse (hard brake) if they enter the limit zone. Higher values here will brake the motor harder but will draw more current and heat the H-Bridge more. It may also cause an abrupt jolt in your sim as it tries to change direction. Setting this to a similar value as PWMmax would make sense. If you want to disable the revers braking then simply set this value to 0 and the position will be driven by the normal PID algorithm. Settings are in the range 0-255 which are mapped to the range of 0-100% duty cycle.

Please keep all future questions regarding configuration of your rig to your build thread, as it gets way too difficult for other members to know what has been responded to and what has not.

Yes, the Utility writes the settings to the Arduino, so once you are done setting up SMC3 the SMC3 Utility does not need to be run.

There is a lot of non-linearity and jitter that SimTolls2.0 does not

if you delete the appdata for the simtools you will need to install the simtools again and its will look like this is the first time you download its so you need to install the plugin again and register your code again as new pc...

if you want to make it new press on keyboard WIN + R thin type %localappdata% then you will find folder "SimTools" just delete it and uninstall the old version and install the new one

    hope you get it
    All the best ,
    Absy

You don't need to upgrade the licence, it covers all versions of SimTools, so just upgrade.
