I only used the roll and pitch axes.
Should I add a Sway axis too?
Same as roll but reverse the direction of the motors?
    I understand well

Even on a 2DOF to get the full benefit you should configure sway, simulated heave and surge, as well as roll and pitch.

See the tuning tips here and initially do each axis individually, then turn them all on for final tweaking: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

You can go a bit over 100% total axis allocation, but don't overdo it: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

Hi. After your advice, I improved the operation of my machine. It is incomparably better;) Thanks.

See the changes I have made and say what you think.

These are pictures of the current axis settings:

Some history. My first smc3 test circuit. I connected the uno with the citron drivers along with the 12v wiper motors. Potentiometers not connected to the motor shaft but it was enough for the first test;)

I have a problem with the configuration of the 3rd engine.

After adding [C <Axis3a>] all communication starts to lag. Latency appears to increase over time and is counted in seconds, not ms.

You would normally set up SMC3 as Serial, like this:

I use a second computer for quick adjustments. Therefore, UDP is the only way. I guess.

It's very interesting. Thanks, I have to check it out. I did not think that you can change ON / OFF there. ;)
