    Hi Mike,
    No, I did not use any shunt regulators at all. Are you using 24v wheelchair motors. If so the regulators are not needed.

    No. I am using 'regular' wormgear Permant Magnet Brushed 24v DC motors.

    what are shunt regulators used for? i use md13s and wheelchair motors should i think about it?
