    Hi everyone.

    I am thinking of going to a DD wheel. I have the option to buy a small Mige motor but... what would then be my options to control it?
    I know I can use Simucube + IONI but it's more than 400€ just for these two. Are there any cheaper options? How do they compare to simucube?

    @noorbeast Thanks for your reply.

    I guess what I am trying to ask is: is it still good to buy a DIY OSW motor and kit? Or are there newer, better or cheaper options now available?

    If you can get OSW first generation second hand used go for it, why not?
    Other option is to buy every component yourself from granite, took a look at their website and they have everything in stock.
    If you wanna go simucube then you take IONI or IONI Pro, and one power supply. You get access to simucube 1 software.
    You can also go with argon and then you get a complete package, maybe you need a external braking resistor. However now you'll need Mmos or Ai-Wave for usb controller. And you also need an adapter for configuring argon.
    Lastly for a motor you can find used ones. If you find one with biss, sincos or incremental then it'll work. Otherwise you'll need replacement.
    If you want new ones they can be bought from china. Mige from alibaba can sell single motors if you message them.
    Simplicity SW wheels and openffb board are also a option.
