    Hey all!

After a while spent waiting and dreaming, I've begun to design a 6dof rig with rotary actuators (I'm going to use 6 worm drive motors), however my biggest problem right now is that I can't find a joint that will work well in giving the sim the freedom of motion it needs. I can't possibly see how a ball joint would actually work here, and I keep seeing pictures and videos of people with really simple joints on the ends of their threaded rods. I just don't understand how they actually work, or what they're called.

If anyone could key me into this, either by just letting me know what the correct name for the joint is, or by dropping a link to somewhere I could buy the joints, that would be awesome!

    Thanks!
