Hello ! your SimTools sounds interesting ! congrats !!

After having built a 2DOF, I'm now working on my second simulator : 3DOF 24V DC wiper motors and Arduino :)
I'm interested in beta testing : I hpe I could make sensible feedbacks as I have some experience in programming and building.
    yours,
    Mat

    Hi earobbie and RaceRay!

Good to see you guys again.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, I noticed the attempt to make X-Sim like the Sim Commander.

At the moment, I'm up to my ears in two new hardware projects and the Sim Commander 4. Motion simulation is a tiny market. The rate of innovation required to even survive in the commercial world is astounding. It adds up to a 12-16 hour work day most days of the week.

Out of curiosity, why did you guys decide to get behind a new project instead of backing one of the other free software's like the Logykal? I think in the last year 3 or so free sim software's popped up. I was surprised to see none of them find a home here.

    Hi Berney,

the developing of the new motion simulator software started nearly the same time where Logykal has been released. It´s also more focused on DC motors than SCN5 (SCN5 is in pipeline) and offers a very easy way to create support for new games. Much more easier and powerful than with any other available software i know so far.

    > Yes, I noticed the attempt to make X-Sim like the Sim Commander.

Not at all, only at the principle of similar usability and simplicity;)
It´s complete independent by any other software product available on the market.

    > It adds up to a 12-16 hour work day most days of the week.

Good to see that you are still successfull and active in that business:)

    Hi Berney,

Great news mate, Sim Commander rocks for scn5 use had a lot of good reports from users, you do a top job in supporting your customers.

I personally was booted from X SIM3 after arguing with someone Im not going to mention, or what it was all about, you personally know what they are like. Then went looking for a substitute for Xsim , to discover Yobuddys fine work still in development, so I joined in and have done intense beta testing for him and hopefully helped him develop a free system that should just about cover all aspects of sim builds , scn5,dc motors and 240v. Been a fun but busy journey that's nearly there for a public release.

Please keep us all informed, would love to see the results, plus a few members here running scn5 units might be interested in your fine work.

Happy to see you have survived and prospered. WD.

    Hello Bernard, welcome back.
Same as Rob, I got booted from the other site for similar reasons.
Still now back here, the new software is awesome to say the least.
I didnt realise what I was missing.
Good to see simcommander still going strong, and yes as Rob says, plenty of good feedback on other sites about it.

Yep. Yobuddy is finishing his SCN5 plugin and will be ready soon. So I guess he will be grateful when you can verify his code!
