    Hi,

I have come to really appreciate the power of SimTools and frequently use it with my SimXperience Stage 3, especially for titles not supported by SimX. I've decided to post images of my setup for NoLimits 2 in response to many people with a similar setup wanting to experience NoLimits 2 with motion +/- VR. You guys will still need to read about the general SimTools setup and plugin installation, but these screenshots should help you get moving quickly. It may benefit from more tweaking in the tuning center and axis speed/accel adjustment, but I think it's a good starting place. Hope you find it helpful!

NOTE: Make sure to SAVE your settings along the way!

    1. Install SimTools and the NoLimits 2 plugin. Make sure you patch the file by directing the Game Manager to the correct Game Path. Once this is done and both the game manager and game engine are running, you should see it connected.

    2. Go to the Game Engine Interface Settings and copy below. Interface 1/Axis refers to your RIGHT actuator (the one on your right side when you are seated in the rig). Interface 2/Axis 2 refers to your LEFT actuator and Interface 3/Axis 3 refers to the rear traction loss actuator. The only thing in these screenshots that you will have to change for your specific setup are the COM ports to make sure that the COM port matches up with the correct actuator. You can figure it out using the Tools-->Axis Assignment Testing.

    3. Edit the axis assignments exactly as shown in the screenshots below. You can certainly customize the % forces once you get the hang of it.

    4. Once you have saved ALL of the above settings, Right click on the Game Engine Icon in the Tray and open the Tuning Center. I've included my values, which can be auto-tuned by you. Try mine as a starting point.

That's It! Enjoy NoLimits2 with Motion and hopefully VR! :)

I wonder if one could do anything useful with the traction loss actuator on a roller coaster sim. There must be something....
