I've just joined, so I apologise in advance if my questions have been asked many times on here before.. :think
    (Though I did search around).

I've been running a DOF Reality H3 rig for a couple of years with their supplied software, but I'd like to get into SimHub instead but I'm struggling with the basics of how to install it. I've got the demo v2.5 running and was hoping to be able to trial it before coughing up the $50. I know the Beta 3.0 is out but all of the guides seem to have been written for v2.

The guides I've found so far all seem to dive in at specific sim setups rather than assigning the DOF's three axis motors, (com port etc..).

My H3 has seen many a tweak and upgrade over the years, converted to an H6 then back to an H3, then the SFU gearboxes etc etc..

I see this post is a few months old. Have you made any progress? I have sim tools (newer and older) running on my DOF H3. I could share some of my settings if you are interested. this youtube video has similar settings if you haven't found it yourself.

Just a note of caution, the Axis Assignments do not contain heave or surge, and for full effect should, yet still totals 140, which is getting really high and could cause clipping: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/
