I'm curious why the roll and pitch effect is not working. I have no movement on assetto or f1 24 weird or normal thanks and just for info the right to left effect is the roll or pitch in the simhub movement

    Hello!
Can someone help with movement settings? The program works perfectly with all games. There is one exception to the WRC 9. And there is only the " surge " function. When I accelerate, it tilts down, when I brake, it tilts up. Is there a way to reverse only this? Simtools is work perfectly, but Simhub not. I have no idea how to reverse this one . I tried to turn the actuator output, but then everything gets messed up in other games, and the parking position also goes up.

I might have wasted a lot of money here. How come Simhub doesn't allow you to choose which actuators are heave, roll, sway etc?

Simtools and the old x-sim softwares allowed this.

Further more, Is FLYpt software the same as simhub where it constraints you to the 4 corners sim.

It is real shame because the reason I purchased was to have motion compensation XR and motion telemetry all in one go.

I have managed to add extra axis "surge".
Not sure how I did it. Any way to add "heave" and "sway"

What do you want to do? Just make the right settings for your layout. There is no need for everything else.

    1) it does not allow you to choose 4dof and then decide which actuators can do sway or surge.
it incoaperated all axis to dothe same. there is a limited geometry you can choose from

2)does anyone know if you can run simhub for motion compensation only for the VR and run simtools at the same time for doing the motion of the rig?

I am not sure about motion compensation, as it is new, but you do need to setup port forwarding to use SimHub and SimTools, as the 2 programs can't directly access the same data at the same time: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simhub-port-forwarding.356/

Appreciate that, will give it a go and see if it pulls the motion compensation data out while running simtools

edit: unfact what is the need for tracker. SIMHUB allows virtual tracker,

So b basically do port forwarding to both simtools and SIMHUB can received telemetry and then use motion compensation XR with simhub and motion telemetry for the rig from SIM TOOLS.?

This is entirely speculation on my part, but motion compensation is basically tracking rig motion to then subtract the motion rig movement from the VR view. That would, I expect, be internal in SimHub if it controls motion, but I have no idea how that would translate when SimTools controls the motion, someone really needs to try it.

Well that was interesting. I can get the MOTION compensation telemetry going in the simhub and obviously using UDP can have both simtools and simhub working together.

However, if the motion compensation data is from SIMHUB, it is relating it to the simhub platform geometery obviously.

But the simtools actuators rig profile is completely different from simhub (lol that is why I am using simtools as simhub cant do what simtools allows me to do )

Then how can the motion compensation work/relate to what is happening in sim tools and therefore the rig movements.

It looks like a dead end to me.
