Figured it might be best if I just make my own thread to sort out my problems.

I've installed Frex's Simcon2 box. Went through his instructions and have done everything it said to do. I had an issue when running the Axis Sel exe, but found out the kill switch had to be powered on for the Axis Sel to recognize the axis'. I've done that and I think I've got that part correct (jpegs below). Both Coms are correct at 5 and 6. Pretty sure the ID's are correct (again, jpegs below) as both show 0 and 0 for Id's I think. I flip the kill switch on for the unit and the SCN5's are locked into position until I stop the kill switch, so I know they are getting power. I've got the Pcars plugin.zip installed and in the game manager its showing as connected and then running when I start the sim. One thing I'm not getting is I'm not able to test the movements in the game engine program. I've tried the LFS, and pcars profiles, but still no movement when trying to test it outside the game. Shared memory is ON in the game. I know its something simple I'm overlooking, but being new to this I'm kind of lost as to what to try?

Ok, made some progress yesterday but am not exactly sure what I did to acheive it. At one point I was able to get the SCN5s to initiate. They went through some kind of calibration where they slowly moved side to side on a full range test or something, then jumped up to a centered hold position. I was then able to move the axis 2 slider back and forth and could control their movement. I thought the axis 1 slider would have given me forward and back movement but I got nothing from any other sliders. Axis 2 was the only slider that would do anything. So does this tell me that the ID's are correctly set to 0 on both of them now? I ask that because Im not 100% sure they are both at 0 ID. I've tried so many things yesterday that Im not sure what I did to get them to work though.

..Edit.. Reduced my game resolution down so I could run the game manager on my 4th screen, and am getting values from the game so I know its seeing the game and is connected correctly, but still cannot get any movement from the output testing or any movement in the game. I just dont know what else to try to get the actuators to work in output testing or the game.

Ok, more progress. Apparently I have to turn the kill switch on before opening the Game engine. Did that and am getting movement in the output testing, and in the game, only minimal movement in the game right now but I know thats just a matter of tweaking things., but at least I know its working now. Hot Damn hahahaha. God it felt good to rip around Road America in the Z4 BMW with actual motion again!! One thing I did notice, when moving the axis' 1 and 2 in the output testing my seat moves diagonal with each axis?

Now to just figure out how to use the tuning center? Had it set to capture min and max, but when I go to save it none of the numbers change so I can increase the motion in the game?

Thank you. Reading up on it now. Seems easy to go down the rabbit hole around here with all the links you have to go through to find stuff hehehe. Takes a while to find a relevant thread sometimes.
