I present my project of the 2DOF simulator

I already have the finished chassis, I will attach images, I am currently looking for the right software to give life to the simulator, I have decided to use the one of the companions of x-simulator

I have it mounted with arduino and monster moto-shield and a power supply HP-750W

I hope to make it work

For the arduino I have used the PRILAD program I hope it works correctly with SimTools, if someone can say if it would work correctly, otherwise know what changes I would have to do, to continue investigating!

There are a range of code options that work with SimTools, including one by @prilad: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/arduino-code-for-use-with-various-hardware-and-simtools.31/

You may want to take a look at the popular SMC3 code, as that has a graphical desktop app to simplify configuration: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...3dof-motor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/

Good companions, I am curious to try my 2 dof with arduino one and speed variators with three phase motors, I have seen some plates in the forum, can someone guide me as simple as possible to do it?

I leave an image of a test I am doing to drive the variable speed unit with smc3 1 mode. The problem I have is that when adjusting the potentiometer to 50%, the 2 relays are activated and the disk has problems to have direct and reverse gear at the same time, the speed reference works perfectly but the problem is that the 2 relays are activated . , Any suggestions? or is it impossible to make it work this way? Thanks in advance

Good companions, I'm going to start modifying my 2dof to add the loss of traction, I have several doubts, I can not find the connection of 3 X IBT-2 to use SMC3, is there any connection link? On the other hand I am going to reform the structure, leaving the pedals in the air, previously my platform only moved the seat but now it will move the whole, how can I calculate the center of gravity correctly? Thanks in advance.

Well, after a while I decided to start with the reform of my simulator 2dof to 3dof with three-phase motors and speed variators, I will attach some images so you can see the development

I started by building a very sturdy base to support the weight of the platform and avoid a possible turning

I have built some pretty good rods in my opinion, with built-in bearings IMG-20190611-WA0002.jpg IMG-20190611-WA0006.jpg

This is what the connecting rod mounted on the engine looks like, I think it has been pretty good, I hope it does its job perfectly

I hope to soon upload some more image of the construction, I am waiting for some spacers to be able to hold the reducers to the lower frame, which has 6mm thick plates, it will be enough to hold the movements of the structure

It has been a very strong structure and no slack in the joints, only remains to manufacture the support potentiometers and begin to assemble the electrical part
