Question How to prioritize surge-pitch and sway/roll?

This may be a stupid question, but is there a way where two conflicting axis movements can be sorted beforehand? Maybe it´s already answered but I wasn´t able to find anything related in the forum.

I have a 2dof motion. For example in Mount Panorama turn 2 braking the pitch would put me backwards but the surge forward. Same in the turning, the sway would push towards the left but the roll the other way.
Can I fine tune that correlation between different forces? Is that a job for Max/Min in tunning or I´m asking too much to 2 motors?

Grab a copy of the vSimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

The Dir being checked orange or not in Axis Assignments determines which way each axis moves.

See the motion profile Tuning Tips in the FAQs, it is best to initially do one axis at a time, with the others temporarily disabled, before tuning them all on and doing fine tuning tweaks: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Best to post pictures of all of your settings, including the Tuning Center while the game is running.

These are my settings. I printed the manual and did the axis tuning one at a time. Maybe there is something wrong with the max/min settings.

Oh, I missed the reset all after starting to capture max/min  Now it makes much more sense.
So in case I wanted the surge prevail over the pitch I should give pitch a higher max/min and/or surge a lower one, right?

Yes, I managed to get the snappy gears effect, now I guess it's all about trial and error fine tuning each axis. Thanks a lot for your help

Sorry to bother you guys again but after the tuning max/min I am very happy with every axis but surge. I feel it only works on very fast cars, where acceleration and braking are very pronounced forces. I tried different settings in max/min but with little success. The forces I use are surge/sway and pitch/roll. Maybe you can guide me in the good way.

In your earlier post you had filters configured, you should really nail the base profile settings with a medium range car before messing with filters:

Once you have a good base profile you can refine it even further by creating specific car/track profiles in the Profile Editor, located in the SimTools Game Manager. Copy the Default Profile in Profile Editor under the Editor tab, name the copy by the Car/Track then use the sliders in the Editor to further tweak the settings.

Yes, I wanted to select the antirollover and messed up because I selected it in all the axis. Now I only have it activated in the pitch and roll. Will do what you said, thanks.

Antirollover is not really necessary for a race profile, but is very handy for flight profiles, where you can loop and do a barrel roll.

I see, I'll unselect it then, as you say, better not to mess with stuff I don't know about :thumbs
