    Hey everyone.

I’m really getting stuck into my 3DOF build now, I want to have it built in the next week or so.

With very little research, I figured that I would mount the motor to the back of the timber platform, bolt it to the back of the traction loss frame, and I’d be done.

The problem is, I’m struggling to visualise how the traction loss 24v worm gear motor is going to move the platform enough.

I’ve left enough space for the wheels to move 200mm in either direction, though I’m not sure what the typical movement for the traction loss platform is.

I’ve had a look through a few threads, but can’t really see an answer to this question.

Here was my original idea, and a vid of my platform

    Any pics/vids/comments would be great!
