Having a Bolt/Nut Welded to a 3/4" Hollow round bar is more than adequate. No sense paying for Race car parts when a simple Tack and weld will do.

Not disagreeing on that point at all. There are many ways to skin that cat. Just like there are $800 fly poles for fishing. A $39 Kmart special will work also. I just wanted to put the info out there as options

Ok so I have been silent for a while but not still. LOL Almost done with the cockpit setup. I need to know what type of control boards I should be looking at to control the electric motors and what if any software is available that is simple enough to use to program them that someone who can barely navigate Windows would be able to use for setting them up :)

Yes a Sabertooth is capable of controlling both motors.

Awesome! So correct me if I am missing
something... I wire the power supply to the Sabertooth then run power from that to the motors....the computer is wired to the Sabertooth telling the motors when to operate...what about potentiometers? I am missing something somewhere lol

You also connect the pots to the Sabertooth. These guys have good pdf instructions for their various models
