I am far into the process of converting my motion flight simulator from 2DOF to 3DOF and I was looking for a good starting point to set my Axis Assignments for this setup. I defiantly need Pitch, Roll and Heave.
    Thank You

OK, however I think that I will stick with Sims Tools. Should I program my axis assignment to have a total of 100 to 120%? (like roll=60, pitch=40, heave= 20) ? And is this done on all three axis?

As per the motion profile refinement link you can allocate around 80% for roll and 80% for pitch, which will give a total allocation of at least 160+%, depending on what else you add, like 20% for heave, because for general aviation you are unlikely to use max allocation for roll and pitch at the same time.
