Hi, i have Assetto Corse installed and simtools configured with a G-seat.
I have set surge and roll to emulate going around the corners etc. When i first play the game the forces pushing on the seat and it feels real and pushes on the right sides of the seat while going around corners.

However after i crash or mid way in the game they seem to be reverse.
I'm not sure what is going on, is it something set wrong in Simtools?

    anyone else ever experienced this?

Can you please post pictures of all of your settings, including the Tuning Center while AC is running in-game.

sorry this is the best i could do given i had yo try screen shot from VR headset
note, i set limits by driving around the track and capturing telem.

Please do not use VR, use PrintScr from a normal AC session, until everything is properly sorted.

From what I can make out the Axis Allocation totals are over 2.5 times what they should be! It would be helpful to know what is the actual axis configuration of your G-Seat, for example does it have a dedicated surge axis, given you have allocated 100%?

first off, i do not have a monitor attached to this system ...it is strictly a VR system i made. "hense this is the best i can do"

when you say the Axis configuration, i'm assuming you do not mean the captured telem back?
    per the image i have 4 axis which i have assign "motion_back_r, motion_back_l, motion_seat_r and motion_seat_l. i also have seatbelt_wast_r, seatblet_wast_l, seatbelt_back_r and seatbelt_back_l.

each of these are mapped to their own axis.
in the VR image you can see motionback_r which has surge, roll and roll rate.

surge and heave work fine and so that is not the issue right now.
Roll and roll rate are where things get a little out of wack.

surge will push on the motionBacks while it will also pull on the seatbelt when you hit the brakes.

when you say the axis is 2.5 times how are you deriving this? are you just looking at the total for a given Axis?
should it only be 100% total? i set this up in DCS for flight and it feel really natural however the totals go over 100%. so i'm not really sure the best way to setup a car game.

i did a chatgpt and its answers were to make sure i had washout applied. I tried this tonight and it was a little better but i'm not sure what the best approach.

A G-Seat has some of its own particular characteristics, but not withstanding see the motion profile tuning tips in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Please post some pictures of your G-Seat and the axis arrangements, as it is still not clear to me if axis totals are shared or singular, such as for surge.

If axis allocations are shared the total should be around 100%, there is a bit of wriggle room, particularly for flight sims, but thus far you have raised issues re Assetto Corsa, and race profiles are far more constrained.

ok I've read all the links, and played with all the settings as suggested but the game still seems to go wacky and act like the opposite telemetry is being feed to simtools.

    settings:
i turned off all axis forces and started over. I set the roll to axis 1 and 2 at 40% only.
i have set the roll parameters to 1-25 and tested over and over. obviously the lower numbers produce a stronger g-force on the back in turns but if i increment it to high i then feel nothing.

I've turn on/off anti-rollover, tried setting the outputs to linear and rotational. I've tried using and changing washout/gain etc. Still nothing and the issue keeps happening

    The issues is that:
when i drive at first the forces on the g-seat back seem to go backward when they should not. For example: i am driving on a flat track and when i turn corners to the left, the left seat g-force pushes... it should be the right one that moves. like wise when i turn right i should feel the left push but instead its the right one that pushes on my back. once in a while it will behave correctly but then stops. its like the telemetry is not being feed into simtools right.

    1. i am using AC content manager to launch AC, could this cause telemetry issues?
    2. is there a way to get real-time telemetry output so i can read through the data and look at what is coming in after i run tests?

I doubt 1 is an issue, as AC content manager is used to configure and launch AC, not mess with it after that.

There are possibilities in the FAQs with respect to your point 2: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/sinusoid-generator.372/

However, I suspect the more likely probability is configuration:

Direction of an axis is also a matter of configuration, so when you say:
That sounds like a configuration issue, but it would help if you posted pictures of all of your current settings.
