Hi. I am José, from Ecuador. I am newbee in this world. I was looking for in the web a good software to simulator. All people says Xsimulator is the best, but I can not understand how install and work properly software.
What do I need to install this software? I payed for a premium package, but the software is only a demo, and I can not patch any game. Do I need to pay anything else to work it normal?
    Please, helpme.
    Cheers.

    Welcome @jose bravo

Site membership and SimTools licenses are two different things.

Site membership gives you access to all plugins.

SimTools licenses allow you to unlock SimTools 2.0: https://simtools.us/license/

If you meet the eligibility criteria of being a member here, having a suitable build thread and not using a commercial kit then you can apply for a discount coupon that makes SimTools free for DIY builders: https://www.xsimulator.net/request-diy-key-simtools/

Hi guys, I'm just stepping out of the shadows after a little bit from my subscription, it's Andrea here and i'm stepping into the world of motion, i always was amused by motion simulators at the arcades and so i decided that i want to create something mine, basically i have an amazing idea and build capability with no programming knowledge (Sad). anyway there will be time to talk about this!
For the moment a big Cheers to everyone.

    Hi guys,

it's Mjike. It's my first time here and i am deeply impressed what you guys are working on. My plan is to create a 2 DOF seat simulator soon after installing the simulator software.

Will start a build thread than:)

    Many greetings from Netherlands

Hi Welcome to our community. Wish you success with your project mate. Anyway don't you mean it goes better when you build the simulator at the first place and then install the software? ;)

Hey guys how ya doing, I just posted my first post of my cockpit in peripherals section. Im a DIY freak, using arduino more and more everyday.. button box, wind simulator, shiftlight with leds for undershift and overshift. Im on this site everyday doing research into 2 and 3 dof rigs, Im a high rise window washer and have a shop with plenty of tools to utilize into the creation of my rig. Just waiting and watching until I decide to take the plunge. I think im heading in the right direction though, the ol lady hates me thats for sure. Id like to eventually become a good enough member to receive simtools. If anyone wants to collaborate or give me a hard time feel free to hit me up. I love learning new things so dont hesitate.3

Thanks bud, yeah ive done a boatload of research on 2dof rigs. already got 2 wiper motors, arduino chip, chassis is ready. Also found 2 dell server 600w power supplies at the shop so power is taken care of. Found three cloth racing seats here in kc for 20 bucks each. Only thing im iffy about is whether i wanna go mm route or jrk route. I think I have the intelligence to go mm but im not cool with the bad chips blowing up. but man, 100 bucks a jrk is dang pricey

Hey guys, Im pretty new so I might be in the wrong place? But I'm just introducing myself to the forum and what I'm thinking of getting up to. I am (hopefully) planing on constructing a DIY GS-4 G seat out of a Jamex race car seat ( my dads previous seat in his race car) and 4 metal panels that will press againt your two quads and 2 sides of your back ( same as a GS-4). I have ran some arduino testing and been able to make the motor move with simtools V1.3. Hopefully I will be able to get 2.0 up and running amd this new project!

    Hello everybody.
New here as I'm new in Arduino and DIY projects. Arrived here because user told me about you, I'm trying to get running a TM1638 display and I have no previous idea, so I need to read, test and learn a lot.

    Best regards!

    Welcome @manc0ntr0.

You will find some useful information and code for the TM1638 in the Game Dash FAQ section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/diy-dashboards-and-gauges-tutorials.140/

You have arrived during a moment of transition between SimTools 1.3 and SimTools 2.0, with the latter just released a few weeks ago.

Game Dash for SimTools 2.0 has not yet been released and when it is will be covered under the SimTools Pro license: https://simtools.us/license/

The legacy SimTools 1.3 can still be obtained but be aware it will be phased out in a year: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/download-the-old-version-of-simtools-1-3-and-plugins.264/
