I am having trouble getting ams2 to move my rig correctly . I have tried all the suggested fixes but with limited results. By running Project cars 2 first then alt Tab out and starting ams2 I get pitch and surge but no roll or sway . Changing settings require you to exit both games make changes and then start both games again
to see if anything has changed . Can anyone one suggest an easier way as this is driving me nuts

Can you please post pictures of all of your settings, and advise which version of SimTools you are using, as you can disconnect from a game without closing it.

I hope this is what you need . The only thing I am not sure about is your question on what code I am using

I am presuming from your settings you are using an Arduino with SMC3, is that correct and if so what control boards are used?

Just to clarify, the ams2 plugin should not require Pcars 2 to be running.

Please post pictures of your Axis Assignments for ams2 and Tuning Center settings, the latter while ams2 is running.

Just so you know, the big button box on the top right of the Game Manager window lets you disconnect from the game while it is running, so you can adjust SimTools settings, the click it again to reconnect and test.

After collecting the information you asked for I now have pitch and surge but no roll or sway

The TC shows there is data for pitch and sway, so the issue is likely the need to refine the motion profile, see the FAQs here for tips: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Try larger Axis Allocations for both and smaller TC settings for each.

I have increased my Axis allocations and resaved the new TC settings but no change pitch and surge work fine but no roll or sway

The Dir setting being checked orange or not determines which way each axis moves, this is what SimTools expects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

Sway should be set the opposite of roll, yours are set the same.

Do not use any filters until you have a solid foundation motion profile, as that will only complicate matters. Filters are for final refinement, think of them as the very last step after all other refinement is done.

I have removed the filters and changed the direction of sway but still the only movement is pitch and surge . I tried to run project cars 2 but there was no data transfer and no movement at all . As these two programs are some how linked could the problem be some sort of conflict .

PC2 requires in-game settings, have you configured those?

Please test roll and sway in output testing and confirm both work.

I have been into project cars 2 and set the configuration . Both roll and sway work in output testing but not in the game . I have tried everything I can think of and tried all of the advice given but nothing makes any difference. The system works great in No Limits rollercoaster and Microsoft Flight sim

There is game telemetry data in the Game Data Input row of the Tuning Center, so capture Min/Max, save, then refine settings from there.

Still no luck everything says it should work but it will not work in AMS2 or Project cars 2 . If works great in No Limits Rollercoaster and MSFS . At this stage I am about to give up and just use it for what will work which is disappointing as the car racing was my main reason for the build in the first place. Thank you so much for your help , I would not have got this far without it.
