    Hi everyone,
I have turned a smart car into my sim rig and am now looking into adding motion similar to a d box with an actuator on each corner of the car to simulate the spring travel! Is there anybody out there that could possibly point me in the right direction on how to achieve this?!!

a car is very heavy - you will need very powerful motors

mounting them on the end of the dampers - will dampen the experience !

Would hydraulic be the best way?! Replace the suspension with 4 beefy actuators?? Think the weight is around the 600kg mark roughly

It would be easier to make the seat move not the car.

You biggest issue is gonna be finding a strong enough motor to move the car. I would suggest you strip and weigh it to see what your motor requirements are gonna be.

Hydraulics. Have you seen those hydraulic jacks to lift cars in garages slowly? You will need four of those pumps, plus bi-directional servo valves plus bidirectional pistons. Speed? Not much unless you pay lots of $$$$ for high power parts...

Unless you can strip down the car to the frame and attach some linear servo actuators... PT has actuators that can lift 200kg each in decent speed. More if you order custom ones with larger 130ST motors...

That's a good suggestion I think even the ones used on low riders would work since they can make a car jump
