    Hello all,

Im new here, I’m from Holland and I wanna build my own 720 degree motion rig.

I’m now in testing fase and have a test setup. I’m using a arduino uno r3 with md20a motor drivers from cytron.

So what I want is a full 360 for roll a pitch. What do I need for sensors on the motors ? Because nou when I rol the plane the motor keeps rolling.

And what zo I need for settings in Smc3 and simtools. And what hardware do I need to ad to my test setup ?

    already thanks for the help

Can you please provide an example or drawing of what you would like to create and why.

While continuous rotation may seem a good idea there are technical/cost complexities for questionable motion outcomes in terms of exploiting weaknesses in psychological and physiological processing.

As @yobuddy explains here if you want your simulator to do 360's, then your going to need hardware that knows how to do 360's. For instance, the smc3 firmware, and most like it, are not setup to do such things.

Hey thanks for your reply. I’m was looking for some worm drive motors and no idea yet for the software I need to use for this. I wanna connect everything via sliprings for data and 220v.
