    Having built a 4 dof rig over the last year and nearly understanding and sorting out most of the problems i wonder is there an idoits guide to building a 6 dof rig on here .

    I don't think any DIY 6DOF project is simple, though some build threads are detailed.

    There are some useful historical resources in the FAQ 6DOF section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/6dof.22/category

    But DIY 6DOF rigs have been evolving at a rapid pace to it pays to check the most recent build threads using the custom Google Search box on the Recent page and filter by Date.
