    Hello everyone.
    Let me describe my project:
    car simulator
    4DOF
    Mechanically welded frame
    4 motors 24v/700W/3000rpm + 60:1 reducer
    2 Sabertooth 2x60
    1 Arduino Uno
    3 screens
Here is a picture of the study

Here are some photos of the build:

The lower part (chassis placed on the ground + "YAW" chassis with its engine)

Then the chassis supporting the seat player

Finally the simulator without the screens

And to finish with the screens

For the moment I am satisfied with the functional and when I have solved the ergonomic problems, I will move on to the finishes.

I tinkered with potentiometers to make them operational over 320°
I deserted the lid and hammered the stopper
    4DOF pitch41370 potar 2.jpg
Then reassemble and reseat the lid
    4DOF pitch41370 potar 3.jpg
Now the potentiometer can make full turns

What squetches do you recommend to manage the Arduino UNO, with my sabertooth 2x60?

For the moment I have not succeeded in the computer part. I'll get to it next week if I find the time.
It is true that it is impressive. But when not in use, I can fold down the screens and the seat back, which is still cumbersome: 1mx1.2m

Finally I downloaded SPS (and SPS 8.2), which I tried to upload to the arduino.

Is my configuration wrong, or am I uploading the wrong files?
I have a "chinese" arduino UNO R3, and Arduino IDE 2.0.4

I tried to compile with Arduino IDE 1-18: same problem =
Compilation error line 419 of sketch [SPS with softstart] => " OutputPort=PORTD; "
error => " expected initializer before 'OutputPort' "
    Any ideas ?

Mode 2 should not be necessary.

With Sabertooth 2x60s the self-configuring baud rate will automatically change the baud rate of a new 2x60 from its 9600 default setting to 115200 baud, so there should be no need to use Describe.

Is the Arduino IDE properly configured for the Arduino being use?

My guess would be switch to a genuine Uno or Mega, not a clone.

Thank's, i'll buy an original arduino to try it. I'll come back to relate the test.
What do you mean by : "Is the Arduino IDE properly configured for the Arduino being use?" ?
    Bye

You need to select the right core & board. This is done by navigating to Tools > Board > Arduino AVR Boards > Board. Make sure you select the board that you are using. If you cannot find your board, you can add it from Tools > Board > Boards Manager.

I have instaled an original arduino uno R3, and configure arduino IDE.
If i ask for card info, it give me BN, VID, PID, and SN.
So i presume my config is good.

When i want to transfert "SPS with sofstart " (or SPS 8.2 softstart), I get an arror message :
" Compilation error: expected initializer before 'OutputPort' "
    in line 419, after #endif [IMG] :(
