here some screenshots of the JRK configuration, the only thing i touch was the PID parameters and feedback, the acceleration was with no limit as well as the duty cycle

here some photos of the installation, the idea was making a tunnel between the PSUs and one fan blowing at the inlet and the other at the outlet extracting and then everything covered with plexiglass (same i used for the JRKs base as it is shown in a picture above)
I do not have pictures of the wiring, since I disconnected the JRKs but the servo connector that is soldered to the pots is directly connected to the JRK and the positive terminal to Vim GND to GND and the motor to the A and B terminals. 20170125_205636.jpg 20170125_205924.jpg 20170125_205650.jpg 20170125_205826.jpg

@noorbeast I had the heatsink mounted when I run the JRKs, even with the heatsink one of the JRKs got burned in no time... and the seat was detached so the motor had no load at that moment, so i am still trying to figure out what is wrong... 20170122_100529.jpg

If you burnt a JRK out with no load then you have wires crossed or a short.

My mistake re heatsinks, I was looking at this recent photo where there was no heatsink:

One motor is working with the JRK that is still alive and the other with arduino and a MM board

thanks a lot @noorbeast and @ferlash for your help!

Maybe I have to work little more with the profile setup and i have to say that even it is the first approach it is so so funny!!

I am buying more MM shields, the JRK is working good now (the one that is still alive) but MM are cheaper and the SMC3 solution is very good also.

I tried to download the iRacing plugin but I have not sufficient coins at the moment, anyways this new experience with LFS is being so funny, even it the game is 16 years old...

This week will be arriving the seatblets, so the brake feeling is going to be better and I will have to put some order in the wiring....

Great to see your sim come to life, well done :thumbs

You may want to add a bit more heave as your refine your motion profile.

You now have enough coins to access the plugins, so I and others will look forward to seeing more of you sim in action with different games.

    Hi everyone,

After burning a couple of Chinese MM now I am using this motor divers form POLOLU and they seem to be powerful plus no heatsink is needed

Here some videos, I have still to work with the iRacing profile... seems a not ending task... LFS works great with the default profile but in iRacing I had to modify the tuning center values one by one but when I mixed all the effects in the Game engine I did not get as good results as expected... in fact I am running now with the scale Pot at 50% more or less configured as Non Linear

    Hi again,

I am refining the movements on my sim, here is an screen shoot of the PID configuration, seem that I have still a bit of overshooting but it is no noticeable and feels good to me. I don know if could feel better since I have not found a way to eliminate it. Any suggestions?
