RC Model Code for Arduino UNO - 2DOF - Expandable 2.0

Arduino code to run servos as a model in SimTools

  1. eaorobbie
Ok contained in the zip file is 2 codes for the Ardunio to control two servos.

RCModelDebugMode.ino is use in the Ard IDE only, you need to set the port to 9600 and send a command formated like this Rxxx~Lxxx~
with xxx being a value from 1-255.
The code will then confirm the servo moved and the data received and the servo value it has been mapped too.

RCModelSimToolsMode.ino is used with SimTools directly.
Please install the RC Model Test_InterfaceConfig.cfg to Game Engine - Tools - Preset Validator. After that the preset can be selected in the Interface Preset box and you just need to specify the Comport Number of the Ard and then Test the Output will work correctly.

There is a post written with more information.

See here for setup details for SimTools 2: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/2dof-simulator-servo-model.6851/#post-77270
