Motor gearbox ratio is 1:26, output shaft is 118rpm.
At the beginning of the previous page you have a picture of the gearbox inside.

Question Ivan. Is the "output shaft'' the one directly/mechanically connected to the original wheelchair wheel? I ask because 118 rpm will translate to 118 wheelchair wheel rotations per minute which is very very fast for a typical wheelchair I suppose.

I saw the picture you referred to on the teardown. Would you happen to know the approximate diameter of the original wheel of the wheelchair? Is it 12 inches diameter or maybe 24 inches? A 12-inch diameter wheel, rotating at 118 rpm top speed would be traveling (at top speed) at approximately 12.6 kilometers per hour, thereabout, assuming my calculations are correct (?).

Pls note to add a diode across the relay field coil circuit to protect the optocoupler from reverse current. Sorry I forgat to include those (1 per relay) pls see picture. The Opto should be able to drive a small 12 volt relay for this purpose. The relay is a double pole single throw (dpst) 12 volts type. Any relay capable of passing 3 to 5 amperes on its contacts should work.

The wheel is directly connected to the output shaft.
The wheel was 13 inches, but it says that the speed is 10km / h

the numbers are consistent. You have a quick acting linkage at 80 to 118 rpm.
Good choice of motor and gearing.

    ow, didnt see that...
we have the same motor spec, but i use more ratio, but harder to process, your build looks simple and very promising...

    nice post...

At about 30 seconds and at 2:25 during sudden braking an error occurred because the PWMrev in the SMC3 utility was set low (only 20). I haven't studied well what PWMrev is for :)

I know, everything is nicely explained when a person reads carefully :)

Yes, that's right, fine movements are missing. Maybe I put stiffer springs, I wouldn’t remove them completely. Due to the damping of stronger shocks. Anyway, they are easy to remove :)
