    Hi!

No way! I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to the project. But this especially long weekend in Spain I'm going to try to make the base, the levers, the cardan and with a bit of luck connect only one motor, since I am missing two ball joints, which are quite expensive!
As for the levers, I'm going to try to heat them up and make them red hot, then I'll try to tighten with the nut to see if the teeth of the motor shaft are marked on the lever, but I don't have much hope on that.

    Some more pics.

I would like to use gears with the pots but in the first stage i will use direct drive.

This week we will find out if the engines are capable of lifting the structure and hopefully my weight. Bets accepted !!! ;-)

I'm on the way! but i think tests wont be possible this afthernoom. I have buy a screw shield, but i had to solder the pins before use, and it have been a waste of time. I have buy new pots, wires and connectors.

    Man at work!!!

Two steps forward, one step back, hang in there as many of us have been down that path.

Hello ! In terms of mechanic (dynamics to be more precise) I think too that long lever will be a problem ! Just the additive mass of the lever can be a disadvantage. because the torque of the motor is the same for small or long lever, and with the long arm you have a big lever-arm effect (because lever is long) So it will carry smaller mass. So to resume, the mass of the rig will create a big lever-arm effect on the lever, that the torque motor can't handle. So i recommand you to make them shorter (or you have to put stronger motor to have such a big range of movement !

    Hello friends!

I'm organizing the wiring a bit. I have installed a second power supply, one per motor with separate power. I have installed some rectifier bridges so that the power supply does not turn off with the feedback.
Well, the mechanics and electronics thing is going well, but I am a mess with the axis assignment.
I want to feel the acceleration, braking and lateral forces but the more laps I give the more confused I am. A little help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Refining a motion profile is part science and part black magic, depending on your personal preferences.

First up grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

Make sure your axis move as SimTools expects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

Then initially do each axis one at a time, once you are happy with each individually then enable them all and tweak from there, see the handy tuning tips here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

    Hello friends,

I apologize for the time I have been absent, but I have never stopped thinking about the project, hehe

I have designed a 3d potentiomer housing to install a hall sensor and place some magnets.
I feel like the gap for the magnets is too big, but I did it for the ones I had on hand.
With my printer I can't get enough hardness and the shaft breaks easily, so I have abandoned the 3d option and bought some sensors in china.
