unfortunately... wobbles too much when the shaker is on... going to have to do the stick method with a vive tracker, like other recommended sources say to put a tracker as close to your head..

has been a while. im still trying to figure out the best way to handle motion cancellation. my last attempts were unsuccessful.
i try to put the wmr controller in front of me like @SilentChill chill, but it is reading vibration when the bass shakers are on. i am using openvr input emulator, and i set the wmr controller to motion compensation "set to zero".. NO JOY.. :(

hey @Pierre Lalancette can u tell me how u setup your motion cancellation? i see you mounted your tracker with a stick behind your seat. what software did u use? i will guess u are also using openvr input emulator?

How can you disagree? I really don't know other site that don't require an accompt.

For the Motion Cancellation, I use the one provided by Pimax in their PiTools.

Sometimes a Disagree is just accidental big clumsy fingers on small phone screens, I have made that mistake myself a number of times, it is a common issue.

Loving the look of your rig man. So tough!
Have you tried the new openvr motion cancellation project? With filters? Its meant to filter out those vibrations. I went to try it in iracing bit cant get oculus to run in openvr mode on iracing. Hoping to try dirt tomorrow.

Also I used those pillow ball base mounts, it failed as they counteract the movement of the universal joint. Have you not had this issue yet? I ended up just running a bolt thought them with a nut on the other side and clamped them down so they can't pivot on the ball. Basically cant move at all. But makes it easy to align the universal joint before bolting them down tight haha. Something to be weary of.. as they may be tough and solid for now but may free up mid game which could be a little worrying.

That's why you need proper universal joints for the 6DOF... like these heavy duty ones:

I think i speak for us all when i say i would love a set of those! They're awesome. I thought i could try a cheap solution. Cheap meaning free from work lol. Once i've finished a few projects i'll probably try designing one up that's a bit more wallet friendly.

    WOW
i also have the same pillow block bearings, and i knew it had the potential to do this..
what i did to prevent that was to put M6 grub screws on opposing angle and i made a ring spacer so that the bearing have no space to move since the pillow block base is bolted down against wood..

BUT MAN I AM SORRY TO SEE that this happened to your rig. ill find some photos and find my 3d ring spacer
