hello, after overcoming the initial problems with the boards, now I think I am making quite a lot of progress these days, after the different problems I have had with smc3.utils and my initial motors (too small), but they helped me understand and do it work by manually activating the potentiometers (the wiring is fine), look for other motor options (now I disassembled a toy from my daughter (the gears did not do what I needed, modify the mechanism and now it works for me and more or less fulfills its function) ), now I tell you the problem that I have, according to the first image that I will later attach, there is a fluctuation in the green line (I think it is due to the bad configuration of the motor gears, which I will put a photo on), (if I am wrong Someone correct me), in simtools, I also have progress, I have done a basic configuration of axis, I have configured the interface for a motor, I have done virtual test and simulation of Axis, patched the game and started It works, I have parameter reading, but it seems not to connect with Arduino for some reason, if someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it, I think the steps are correct, but something is missing

Please post pictures of all of your SMC3 and SimTools settings.

Interference could be a bad connection, a pot, or poor cable management.

You only have one axis configured, but are using 2 in Axis Assignments. Also your Interface Output should be [A<Axis1a>]

Interface Output defines how many axis there are, which can be up to 3 with SMC3, like this [A<Axis1a>][B<Axis2a>][C<Axis3a>]

ok, i think it works, i don't fully confirm it, because the motor has started to work at the fls garage exit, fluctuating a lot, could it be due to the slack in the gears? then with the means that I have at my disposal (remember that I am confined) I give the test for good, when I go to work I will check the insulation of the window regulator motors (I have 4 or 5) and I will repeat the tests (of course wiring with a little cable thicker so as not to have any problem) of 1mm would be enough ?, the motors have to be exactly the same?

Is there any play in the gears that drive the pot?

Cheap pots could also be an issue.

Shielded wire is a good idea, so are clip on ferrite magnets, to reduce interference.

[/ QUOTE]
hello, I have done another test with the small engines putting them almost full in the smc3 configuration. and everything works correctly (slowly but it works, and the fluctuations were removed), I am still investigating the DIY suggestions and so on, thanks for the help in this phase of the project (if I had not got the connection between Arduino and simtools I would surely discard the project) , but as I have now managed to touch the next step (buy steering wheel and pedals), with the Logitech g29 would it be good to start?, thanks again

Hello, today I had to go outside to buy food after 10 days at home and waiting at least another 10 (damn covid-19), I took the opportunity to go to work to get some window regulator motors and an old computer to disassemble the power supply to do some tests, first check the insulation, and then I will see how to do a test bench, the motors are different, but for the first tests I imagine they will work, and DIY ... , I do not know what to do yet, because comparing the options and dimensions of three and six engines, I like the idea of six and I see it feasible with the work I have already done, well I will tell my decision, for the moment to review what I have and continue to see ideas such as the evolution of @ C1500, I keep working, I will tell more and I will put a photo

well, I am with the motors, I do not need to isolate, since the housings are plastic, I think I am right, if not, could someone correct me? I put you image 1587294108421207862843624665256.jpg

Hello, I will tell you about my adventures, after going around the forum seeing projects and taking ideas, I think I have an idea of how it can be, (the plans are in my head), "a little soggy from so much project, clarifying ideas" something occurred to me, I tried it, and at the moment it seems to work (you have to make your head work in times of covid-19), I took some 4mm polycarbonate sheets that I remembered to have, grooved and folded them to make tube making the welding with bodybuilder tape, is what I have at home, for the moment, I get out of the way and I'm not bored, greetings, I put photos. Hello, I tell you the progress of my model in real size, after making the tube better than in the initial sample, cut sheet to make the joints, and I started to manufacture the structure for the seat and the extension of the pedals, now I will start With the base of the pedals and the structure of the steering wheel, I am happy with the result and the firmness of this material, I have disassembled a house chair to get an idea, I have sat down and although I have little weight has given me security, I will continue to tell you

Hello, I keep telling you about the progress of my project, now more slowly because I started working three weeks ago, although with many restrictions and security measures due to the damn bug, but hey, we keep going, May 17 was my birthday, and I must have behaved well because I have been given a Logitech G29 steering wheel and a semi-bucket seat, I also received a 500w power supply, between this week and next, I will have the engines of a Skoda superb from a friend who takes it to the scrapping, but before you let me dismantle everything I want, I will keep the window regulator motors and the front wiper, the speakers and whatever comes to mind along the way, when I have them, I will start working on the supports and I will see how I place them since I am thinking of putting them 5, it would be to put the 4 windows for the movement of the seat and the wiper for the request for traction, if someone could give me their opinion or orientation, I would greatly appreciate it, I would to viable that configuration? I put photos and I will continue counting.

Hello, sorry for the delay, I have many advances to tell, first, I leave you the engines that I am going to use in principle (4 of the electric seats and 1 of the windscreen wipers of a Skoda superb) I have other engine options (4 equal windows Skoda, and a different window regulator for the fifth engine)

Hello again, I keep counting my progress, with the help of a pallet I clarified my measurements and I have already started to manufacture the good pieces IMG_20201208_142828.jpg

of an Ikea bed that a friend was going to throw away, I took the material to go manufacturing the lower structure
