    Hello all!
I decide to start with my Projekt.
I have bought an arduino uno and a motor shield and built a simple test platform.
    Hardware_Test_Aufbau.jpg
After changing "L<Axis1>R<Axis2>" to "L<Axis1a>R<Axis2a>" in the interface settings
in the game engine i get it working in the output testing.
Then i tested it with data from live for speed and it seems to work well so i can start to
    built my sim.

At first i want to built it like that.
    MySim1_engl.jpg
But first a simple version for further testing than upgrade it with better materials.
After that i want to upgrade it to this version.
    MySim2_engl.jpg
And maybe in the future i want to add a yaw axis.

    Sty tuned for furtehr updates.;)

Thank you for the tip i will keep that in mind. The problem is i have to built it
compact because of less room space. I already have the wipermotors
so i try them first. When that doesnt´t work i will buy bigger ones.

Thank you, but i already have everything i need. At this time i built the motion module
with mdf plate i found at home and some parts from the hardware store. When everything is
as i want it to be i will upgrade it with other materials.

ull 100% need bigger mate i built a very similar setup as a seat mover and thats without the pedal and wheel setup you have planed.. it worked great yes but you could do more than 3 dirt rally stages without it getting hot from the load ..so having the pedals and wheel mounted to it will work them pretty hard.. noting under 100watts..
i might be wrong but yours look like 70watt motors
    i used these first
    https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-drive-motor-12v-70w-45-65-rpm-6-35nm-torque.html

    then ended up using these

you should think locking the wheels , with this design you will throw in all directions ! and if you want saving money, buy the right motors at the beginning as noorbeast advice you . you will not regret it . just my 2cents

I have thought of that and will probably remove the wheels and replace them with a plate.

I have bought an original arduino board and a monster moto shield clone.
It seems to be okay. Could not measure it because my multimeter
    is broken. And i use a 12V 360W 30A power supply.

First i choose to stack the two cards. Maybe i will wire it in a later version.
    Elektronik.jpg
For the cooling, I take an old boxed fan for AM3 socket and sawed
through the cooling fins, so that it fits.

I also ground isolate the Motors.
    Motor1.jpg
I knew the blue cabel is for low speed so i cut it from position 1
and i cut the ground from position 2 and soldered them together.
    Motor2.jpg

So i have only 2 cables coming out of the motor.
    Motor3.jpg

And i have build a plate for the motors and electronics
    and one for the seat.
    Motorplatte.jpg

    Sitzplatte.jpg

Now i still waiting for the u-joint parts to arrive.

Can I also use hall sensors on an Arduino? I read that you should prefer 10k ohms pots.

Of course you can use it and they have more precision. And if something goe wrong, nothing breaks

i did not understud... if you want to stock arduino and moto monster you will need to change the arduino program... will you make changes? or how are you planning to use it?

    best regards

    Hey whatsaa.
Look, you're right if you want to use monster and arduino, you have to use one type of arduino code and wiring. And the same if you use JRK; you have to find the correct software for your desing and hardware. Luck

@ervix thank you that sounds good. At the moment i use the pots because
i have them laying around from another projekt, But will by hall sensor
    s for the upgrade.

@ferslash i dont know what you mean. What do i have to change in the code.
I use racing mats code and you can use it for both variations wired or stacked.
As far as i know. I did not change anything and it works fine.

@noorbeast thank you for your info.
