Yes, this does very nicely indeed. I built a setup very much like that of @Avenga76. It really does add to the immersion for me, especially with the open top cars in iRacing. Not to mention that it blows hard enough to force air into my Vive headset and clear the fog from my glasses :) For NoLimits 2 it is amazing (and vomit inducing).

I have removed the triples from my rig, added wind and use VR exclusively for driving games. Simulated wind was exactly what my rig needed to be perfect.

    Thanks @SilentChill and@Avenga76

I skimmed though but might have just missed it; would it be possible to alter the sketch to mix sway input with RPM and then have each blower (in my case I have two) blow stronger as you make a turn in that direction? I have my marine blowers set further apart and angled inward so having one or the other give a sense of direction would be really cool. (pun intended) :)

It gets it's data from GameDash. Which usually only outputs speed, RPM, etc. So it doesn't output any Sway data.

Currently it works off the speed data, not the RPM

Yes, I misspoke; I meant Speed. But Sway and other data should be able to be imported into Gamedash like any other telemetry. I realize that this would necessitate an update to Gamedash and at this point I am just dreaming :)

Yes you could easily put sway in there but it needs to be done at the plugin source and just enter the sway values as a dash output. ;)

Is there any way to use an IBT-2 driver instead of a MM? I have one with no use at all...

Yeah you just need to alter the code for the pin outs/ins

I'd read this from and old message from 2015:
" To make it cheap, someone should write a sketch that drives an IBT-2 H-bridge [10-15USD 27V 30A], it needs a special driving mode, the SMC3 sketch includes it as mode2."
That's why I thought that I need a special code, something like @SilentChill told.

Anyway, I will try as it is not difficult to make.

Yes the code is totally different to the MotoMonster code, it would need to be replaced with the IBT2 code. I have had a quick look and cant seem to find a good example of what I want to use

Don't worry, I will get a MM, they are cheap.

    Hi Avenga,

I just want to ask you, if it is possible, that you provide me the 3D printer files for the Moto Monster ventilated box with internal fan so i can print them out by myself. Im located in Germany, so it not the ideal for shipment.

    Thx and Best Regards

With him selling the wind generators it's easy to see that he might pull them.

But they are pretty simple designs. For something like them it would easy to whip up the design in Fusion 360 (free) and just print your own that way. Not as easy as just downloading the .stl files, but you can add whatever customizations you want.

I had a problem a while ago where someone downloaded my files and was trying to sell them so I had to take them down. After heaps of email I got the guy to stop but I just don't want to go though that again, it wasn't someone from this forum, was from another forum.

I don't mind them being used for DIY, I just don't like it when people try to sell my designs for profit without asking me.

PM me and I will send you the files.
