    Hi, i want to expose a problem im having when i updated to Simtools 2.0
    When i want to start Assetto Corsa and Dirt 3, i need to change on Game Engine / System Interface: Com port and Assigned Axis every time i restart pc.
    And for example with Dirt Rally always go well .. Is like it confuse left and right actuators with Assetto Corsa and Dirt 3.
    Anybody knows why? With 1.3 all was OK always.

    Just verifying, you are hitting Save when creating your interface settings and what are the computer language settings, have you tried US English as the default computer language settings?

    I press Save always.. and every time a restart computer i need to change it.. so, that is not the thing.. Language is Spanish, Español-España.
    Could be the reason?
    But its strange that only happens on a few games.. Others runs good as always.

    I can't say for sure but language settings can affect certain characters, so worth a try.

    I am having the exact same issue. Everytime I reboot, I lose all my Axis Assignments. Everytime I want to use my sim - I need to re-apply my preset to all 6 interfaces. Saving just isn't working for me.

    I'm very interested in how SimTools is implemented. As a beginner I searched for some research papers and most of them require a washout algorithm parameter tuning process to achieve good simulation. I would like to know how it is simplified in SimTools. (Or maybe.. just different algorithm?)

    The demo version of SimTools 2 has a fully functional plugin pre-installed for Live For Speed, specifically for testing purposes, so you can try the washout filter that is built in for yourself.

    Goodmorning everyone.
    I finally found time to install SimTools 2 and start experimenting (my 2 DOF system is finally over).
    I have a question: what is the parameter to "slow down" the motors speed rotation?
    I have 24V motors but I have to power them to 12V to make the system less "nervous".

    Where can I work on software to "slow down" engine speed? On the smoothing parameter, or are it off-road?

    There are a number of things you can do, but please post all of your settings on your build thread, along with a video of your rig where you can see its movement plus the game screen.

    That way members will be able to give reasonable suggestions on where to start fine tuning.

    Try the "Main Level %" slider in Game Mangers / Profile Editor.
    It adds smooting to all outputs for the sim.

    As I was saying, the engines are 24V and I am feeding them to 12V to prevent the simulator from getting too nervous.

    In this state (12V) I like the movements, but I would like to switch to 24V to decrease the currents and make the engines work within their specifications.

    Tips to increase the 24v voltage and soften the movements via software? :sos
