    For 4 axis 64 buttons i use this type of pcb.Tirta you can try to change the green and white cable between them.

    there are 2 design in your attachment:

    joy01nl.png is one sided made by Sokol1
    wnc bottom.pdf and wnc top.pdf are designed by noalone.

    so which one do you use?

    I have used pcb design in your post (sokol1),
    however, the result is the same:
    when I plug Joy.01 into my computer,
    my windows xp can not detect it,
    I still get device unknown.

    do you know what might be the culprit?
    please help.
