Question Wiper motor grounding without wire cutting

    Hey.

    I have two Bosch wiper motors from BMW E46.

    I opened the plastic case and find no easy way to open the motor itself.

    I wonder why the tutorials here say I need to cut the wire inside the motor. Why not just connect a ground wire to the wiper motor screws and isolate the motors from the seat frame?

    i guess it could work, only that. isolating the motor from the frame could be in practical terms dificult to achieve
