    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, SCN5
    I would like to start off by thanking all who have gone before and delved into creating projects and solving problems. There are gurus of knowledge on this site, but do your research first then pose unsolved questions!
    One thing I'd like to throw out there to any who have the same question...
    //
    SCN5 are not appropriate for 6DOF... too weak to support that kind of weight.//
    //
    RC mini models are an awesome way to break into learning about motion control. I had built a 6dof rc servo platform based off of EAORobbie's RC code (found via search)
    Ran into an issue where the last servo was going crazy... Fixed that problem by adding a ghost axis to the Interface Settings
    ///

    My simulator intent is to build a recessed Stewart Platform 6dof rig based off of Cruden's Hexatech, or maybe a no recessed InMotion's platform. Of course with Oculus Rift CV1!

    My next step after successfully completing the mini RC model is to explore a few actuator types.

    first stop will be to acquire 1 heavy duty truck wiper motor from a junkyard to get it working with code and then do testing at ~40 lbs static load and see how well it performs

    then I plan to research 2 different avenues of approach;
    *SeatTimes custom electric carbon fiber actuators (wonder if I could get them commercially built somewhere???)
    *Hydraulics... (forklift? excavator?)

    Any insight is appreciated!
