    Hi Everyone

It has been a while since I posted; life got really busy. Since the semester ended I have plunged all of my efforts in having a real life :) (Midlife crisis?...who cares, it is fun).

Since spring I have completed two bicycle tours. One was following the C&O canal pathway from Cumberland Maryland USA to Washington D.C. USA. It was my introduction to bicycle touring at 185miles. A week later I left my home in Michigan to travel to Toronto Ontario and start a solo ride around Lake Ontario (one of the five Great Lakes) traveling through Ontario Canada, New York state in the U.S. and back into Ontario to finish back in Toronto. Part of my route was along the historic Erie Canal in New York.

Looks like great fun :thumbs. Yes, there is certainly more to life than just work. Since I've been away from work I have lost 7Kg, never been happier and feel great - just shows you how unhealthy a office job really is..

It has been a wonderful summer. Three tours in three months, my wife and I just got home from the Pacific Northwest. She took a cruise with her family from Vancouver to Alaska. I was raised there and have no interest in returning any time soon. So I rode my bicycle from Vancouver to Seatac airport just south of Seattle Washington. Here is my shakycam video blog of the trip :D
