Thanks, @Andrew M! This is the next thing I print! Putting the Warthog base down on the floor of my platform and need to extend the stick up to a comfy position!

You will also gain greater controller precision doing that.

Definitely looking forward to that! I'm guessing two to three times the precision based on extension length. It's that noticeable, eh? That will be very nice!

It will make a huge difference to precision for things like combat sims.

How cool is this , I'm just fitting my HOTAS into my new sim shell and need some more height on the stick and remembered reading this . Thanks for Posting @Andrew M :thumbs. Another job for the 3D printer :).

On the bottom part the sleeve that holds the stick shaft is very thin. I had to print it at 100% fill to get it strong enough to not try to flex.

The guy who drew it up did a great job though. The holes for the connectors are a perfect and tight fit for the DIN connectors from DigiKey. Some baking soda and superglue will lock them in beautifully.

I did the updated 1 piece, with 50% fill - seems pretty strong to me, although will see when I get it all together.

I needed a bit more extension so was referring to the multiple prints where you add your own extension tube to go between the top and bottom fittings. The one piece job looked slick so glad it worked for you. Does the one piece lock and hold the stick handle in position with the little clover keyways or can things rotate?

It's all locked in tight :). Added about 10cm, so perfect for me.
