Use Vive wands as a joystick or wheel

    Here is newly released code to use vjoy and the Vive wands as a joystick or steering wheel: https://github.com/mdovgialo/steam-vr-wheel/releases

    This is not one for the purists, but does have interesting possibilities as the Vive wands can simulate normal controller input and hence can be used for just about anything.

    This may work even better with the soon to hit "knuckles" controllers for the Vive. I think holding your arms out like that will get tiring for regular sim sessions, but will be handy for demos in a pinch. Will be very convenient to not have to mount and unmount controllers to swap between driving and flying demos too.
