A friend of mine that I told him about the sim that I was building got all excited and he said a mate of his that he races with said that there was a new track called "The Bend" on Assetto Corsa but it was pulled from ? as the owners of the new track in South Australia called The Bend objected for some reason.
Naturally I am very interested in getting hold of a copy if anyone has seen it around, probably on Steam but I really don't know for sure.

For those that don't know, this is a brand new world class facility which has been built 100 km. from Adelaide in South Australia and has already hosted a round of the Australian V8 Supercar Series and they have their eyes on getting rounds of the Moto GP and F1 maybe some day.
The track is a multi purpose facility with several different layouts plus an off road course .
Here is a trailer VR lap of The Bend https://www.foxsports.com.au/video/...k=1dd3435cbf546726bdaa9bbe5dc9abda-1537453193

I highly doubt The Bend will see F1 as it is only rated at FIA grade 2. I'm pretty sure F1 can only go on tracks rated at FIA grade 1.
Don't know how leinient they are on those rules. I do remember seeing a laser scanner at the track though!
This post seems to allude to a future addition to some sim racing title but to what I am not sure.

Who knows what the future will hold, but I was just going on the info given to me by a racer that I know.
The Youtube link to the clip of the Bend was done in or on a simulator of some sort.
As for the track's accreditation I did not know what it is but I would have thought that it would have been a par with Melbourne's
F1 track which is just a street circuit.
Given that the track has only had a handful of events so fat there is still a ton of work to be finished on the complex.
