I love the Reverb G2 with the off ear headphones, high res screens, and simply amazing optics - but the fit for me has been terrible. The balance is bad so there was a lot of pressure around my eyes, on my forehead, and on my upper cheeks (face version). It also squeezed the sides of my head the way it fit.

One of the guys I fly with mentioned a strap and counterweight from Studioform Creative (in New Zealand). He was raving about comfort so I ordered a set for mine. They got here yesterday and totally change the fit of the G2.

Huge, huge, huge difference! No more pressure on my forehead, cheeks, etc. The headset is a little heavier now with the rear counterweight, but it doesn’t feel any heavier than other headsets like Vive or Index.

Materials and quality look great. No defects, bad stitching, or anything. Just a really nice mod for the G2 to fix up the fit and comfort and it works. No problem recommending this. The counterweight and strap are available separately or at a discount for the kit of both. Studioform also includes Velcro strips to secure the top straps together, as well as to renew the Velcro if you wear it out. I don’t ever see ever taking this off my headset, though.

They also have kits for other headsets but the only one I’ve tried is for the G2 and it’s a huge increase in comfort.
