Thanks for the tip Noorbeast. I have tried it in various positions before welding it in place as it lends itself to the best-balanced point with me in the seat. I followed Kevinski's design & advise to have a moveable seat frame (in green with springs to accentuate surge/heave) that I can push forward in the top frame if we find the motors struggle a bit. The genius in this design is that we can slide the green frame (with the seat) forward along the black top frame easily hence closer to the uni joint. Thanks again for the input...

Thanks Kevin - appreciate your time and effort to help me through it.. will watch it now and follow the instructions. On another matter... I've been playing around with getting a seatbelt tensioner to work on the motion sim rig. See the photos of my crazy handiwork so far as i only started on it this afternoon ... trying to use the differential changes in latitude between the top frame and the central spine to give me left and right pulling force on the seat belt straps so that it translates into G force sensation. The winch rollers may be required to mitigate losses between vertical and horizontal plane change of the shoulder straps at the top of the seat. The green (with the big Knot ) and Blue rubber straps that connect the bottom of the rig to the seat belt straps are required to get that left and right "pulling" force sensation. Thanks again Kevin! tensioner IMG_8775.jpg tensioner IMG_8776.jpg tensioner IMG_8777.jpg tensioner winch roller IMG_8778.jpg

Hi Kevin ... It's ALIVE It's ALIVE ! Followed your video as soon as I got home from a field trip this week.. worked first go, but it did surprise me as I didn't have the right values in SMC3 set.. LOL bent a 10mm threaded tie rod a little.. It's a beast of a rig and deserves respect. Again mate - Thank you for your valuable time and effort in helping me out. I also got the chance to finish the seatbelt tensioner.. all for under Aud $100 ( pre loved 4 point harness and 2 x boat trailer rollers ) first trial smc3 settings IMG_8786.jpg first trial smc3 ooops IMG_8784.jpg

I reckon we should discuss this stuff in a separate thread George so we aren’t polluting this thread with unrelated sabretooth specific stuff. I’ll message you and we’ll go from there.
