    Hi Everyone,

I have a fairly top end system that plays all other games in VR without issue, however ETS2 still remains a frustration for me.

It's annoying as I have organised an intravenous food source and adult diapers for my ETS2 sessions... :D

Some days I can run it for about 15 minutes without any jerky movement but it will always happen at some point. I understand it will lag as you enter a city (known issue) but when just driving and looking around on a sparse freeway, it will stop/start/tear/jerk. :(

I'm even set EVERYTHING to low in the GFX settings and reduced the scale, still no joy.

I know ETS2 is not a "fully supported" version for the Rift, however surely I'm missing something to make it run better. Any hints/tips from players on here?

    Please and thank you :)

Ok... Oddly enough, think I found the reason, but I'm going to research it a bit more as it does not make much sense.

Just by chance my Telstra link was speed limited so I closed anything that was using my link - pretty much only utorrent.

Low and behold, I had a trouble free night of playing ETS2. Usual lag on entering a city, but other than that - no issues.

What I don't understand is utorrent does not put any strain on my system normally and all my torrents files (disk activity) are not on my Steam drive.

I'm going to do some more digging around on my system, see if I can find a smoking gun :)

I think Network was a fluke, but I have solved it tonight by doing.

    1. Moved the game to spare SSD. (Easy to do from the Steam client - Hit me up if you are not sure)
    2. Subscribed to this mod on Steam. Runs like a dream now on Ultra settings!
