    Hi,

Is this going to be moved from pneumatics?

And another thing. I think you have raised a lot the seat, and most likely you will be getting false cue movements. For example if you press the brakes you will be pushed on the seat while the exact opposite should happen!

I would advice you to lower the seat 20-30cm if possible. It will also improve the balancing stability of the platform with the driver on it. BTW how you are going to climb in that thing??? :?

    Regards, Thanos

    Hi Thanos

    Thanks for your coments!

Is this going to be moved from pneumatics?

    Yes is a pneumatic system

And another thing. I think you have raised a lot the seat, and most likely you will be getting false cue movements. For example if you press the brakes you will be pushed on the seat while the exact opposite should happen!

I already tought putting down the seat, but for the moment I can´t do it because the cilinder I have is too long (400mm). I have been thinking of reducing it to 300mm or less because I don't need so much lengh. Your example is not valid, because by pressing the brakes the effect is correct though the movement is too long.
What it's true is, that I have a problem with the x-axis, because of the position of the seat the GC is to high, and this makes that the x-axis movement does not end when it has to and it keeps on moving till the end of the cylinder. But I'm working on it. This is only the beginning of the work, I still have to install the 3 monitor system to compense the balance of the machine.

you are going to climb in that thing??? :?

Yes, that thing is my Simulator :mug1:

Thanos is right. You have to balance it out! The seat is in a too high position. This becomes obvious, as it moves quickly to the sides, but has much trouble to get back to center position.

    Hi Christian

as I told Thanos, I reducing the vertical axis motion of the simulator, to be able to put it down , and so improve the horizontal movement.

I will put some photos in short time.

    Thanks

    Hello

I have reduced the hight for about 20 or 25cm, now I have a cylinder with a range of 250mm. I hope with this change it's enough. I also have reduced with cushion of the x-axis with buffering.

Can you show us a video with a look on your screen to see how syncron the movements are?

    Hi to All

Even I could not solve my electrical problems, but I'm using a mini compressor that provides at least some air to be able to move the sim. I know I need to refine the movements and effects. I leave with you this if anyone wants to crucify me.

pointer4 I like your sim, very good work How are you going to the settings of movement?

Honestly, I am not able to see which effect is triggering which movement.

Why dont you try to cofigure just the accell/brake axis at first. Try to fine-tune it with 3 speeds.
When you are satisfied with the result, then save the profile, and work out another profile with lateral movements.

Though it is obvious that you wont get perfect movements with 3 speed pneumatics, you will be able to get alot better movements than you have currently at least.

Btw, you should use X-Sim1 for pneumatic valves with matrix control. It is easier to get used with it.

Post your profile here, please. Perhaps I will be able to tweak it a bit.

    Hi

My problem is I do not know how to create the correct profile. I do not know what meaning to assign to each value captured by the pluging of the force-Sender

I am simply use the Efect 21 of the pluging (Local x velocity) and assign the x-axis with 100% intensity, the effect 22 on the Y-axis and also with a 100%. The effect 24 (local accel X) assigned to the x-axis with 100% intensity and the effect 25 on the axis Y.

I need a little help to learn how to successfully create the effects.

    Hi

Well, I have been working a bit at the effects and with the velocities. In this profile used the local velocity and local Accel. effects. Which effect should I use to add the colissions? How can I link the name of each effect with the movement that is making the car. (How can I now which name of which effect is the one that corresponds to the movement of the car)

You are using the wrong effects.

You have to use effect 25 for lateral movements (left/right g-forces), and effect 27 for longitudinal effects (accell/brake g-forces)
