    @yobuddy Sorry to do this to you mate, but filtering is better, but still well short of where I need it. I quickly reached 100% and surge is still not usable. I got heave to roughly the right place with 90% and that is on a roadcar with stock suspension so I suspect an F1 could potentially still cause me to lose a filling lol. Had to burn the old install down and start again as I couldn't easily blow away all the smoothing values and was easier to just start from scratch as the default profile would just cause unhandled exceptions.

    SO I think at this point if you have multiplied the filtering factor by 12x maybe double that again (24X)?

    Separate UI related request, would it be possible to darken the red for the smoothing boxes? Or desaturate it? The difference between the red and the orange is a bit hard to see when you are banging through adding the smoothing to all the axes.

    Were you using smoothing or the boundary filter before the update?
    These errors should not happen again, as I need to change some paths and update the API a bit.
    (so i can get the v3 game plugin api out.)

    I'd rather have a bit more that what we need than not enough, so with your help we will nail it.

    I need to make proper icons, as just using colors is bad practice, and especially bad for color blind people.
    Just trying to work my way out of the main app and into the plugins.

    Allot of work has been done to the setup plugins and the re-setup process.
    We have also added Dash and Vibe re-setup screens to the re-setup process.
    So now exporting your setup file can not only be used for personal backups, but can also be sent to other people to have them setup in minutes.
    And of course can also be shared on the repo too.

    I scaled up the smoothing on the Standard Axis plugin x4.
    I believe it's now exactly half of what we had in v2.
    I figured we could scale it back if needed, but this way it should be use-able. ;)

    Thanks @yobuddy I will give it a crack later today and see where I fall against it. Also knowing how the smoothing relates roughly to 2.x is useful for me to try to sanity check where the new settings fall. Once I have a base profile I feel is up to scratch I will get this repo set up and rework the surge into the vert actuators so it gives a nice starting point for 100mm stroke actuators like the SFX100.

    RE UI that's all good, appreciate the UI is WIP so was just checking it is on the radar lol.

    Btw, The washout filters should work fairly well when setting a return of 50 and a gain of 1.
    When Gain is = 100, the input is doubled.
    I should probably make it so we can lower the gain also.
    And maybe set return so 50 = 1 and you get -50 to +50.
    Anyway, see what you guy's think and we can change things as needed.

    When adjusting Axis Assignments, if you make any changes (%, Forces, etc) and hit "Test Settings", without clicking Save before, it will use what you had before (last Save). I just lost some minutes on this. Is this the wanted behaviour? Maybe a warning if you test without save? Maybe test shall reflect the modified settings even if not saved to allow find the right settings before saving and overwriting your settings?

    What about having some sort of label on the inferfaces? I have 2 serial ones and I am often confused if I'm changing the right one.

    There's a bug with the Flt color in the Axis Assignment:

    Reproduction:
    - go on a profile, click the Flt and add some filtering (Smooth 10 for instance)
    - without saving, go back to the home page and select another profile (another game)

    The Flt will be orange (as if some filtering was active), but it's not the case. If you click it, the filter page will open with all settings as 0. If you close it without changing anything, the Flt will be red as expected.

    Let me know if it's clear.

    Hey @yobuddy Just testing now. I have surge finally usable in a tintop, but no headroom, (it is at 100%) So I could theoretically start developing tunes at this point, but I think some other setups with say 1610 screws will still need more filtering than this.

    With the current smoothing level I have Heave at roughly 60-70% to give that sort of damped heave feeling elevation changes and dips in the track, (as opposed to a really grainy feeling road surface). My surge is usable in an old 80's BMW M3, but is still pretty rough in open wheelers

    I think 75% of the old values would be roughly right to allow enough software filtering for most if not all setups.

    When configuring Axis Assignments, the dropdown correctly reads axis labels from game plugin. For instance, for iRacing, Extra1 is Traction Loss:
