Sure, that makes sense to me.

A lot of work has been done on the repo server, adding a full permission system and simply fine-tuning the code. The beta version of SimTools will get pushed to the alpha server in the next 24 hours or so.
This gives us a chance to look for any last minute errors the updates may have caused.
From here, we will setup the web-sight for the public beta. :thumbs
During the public beta we will be looking to:
    - Fix any errors reported
    - Reorganize and finish the skinning capability
    - Go over the plugins we have now, and add more plugins!
    - Manuals / How-too Videos
There is probably a bit more to add to the list, there always is. :grin
    Chat soon,

    Hi Yobuddy,

I was trying to set up/change values of some settings in F1 2021 and ACC which require me to stop the plugin whilst the game was running and several times it would not fully stop. It said it had stopped and allowed me to edit the settings but wouldn't then go to the home page for me to restart the plugin. I had to close and restart Simtools.

Is there any possibility for allowing us to edit the plugins source code, so that the plugins for the different racing games could be added soon?

Plugin development requires some skills, this guide is for SimTools 2, which at some stage will be updated for SimTools 3, but is a great place to start in learning and demonstrating the required plugin dev skills: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...lugin-for-simtools-2-0-api-documentation.131/

There are no shortage of plugin candidates to practice on: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/game-plugin-requests.5839/

    Hello,

I have a dynamic platform and when I play F1 2022 I can't use it because to work I need the UDP format of the telemetry to be in 2022 to make my dashboard and shakers work but under this format my dynamic platform doesn't work because it needs a UDP format in 2018
Do you have an idea to solve this problem

This is the V3 alpha thread, try posting your issue in the F1 22 plugin thread

    For all
Regardez le reply to the codemaster support

Unfortunately, the game can only output one type of UDP data format at a time, so the best solution would be for you to contact the makers of the motion platform and see if they have any updates that would support the new F1 2022 UDP data format.

I just pushed an update for Elite Dangerous XML for update 13. But the update is not poping up in simtools V3.
Anyway idea why ? is there a little delay ?
    Note:
    1- I did restart simtools.
2- All I did was adding the new XML within previous exported plugin (because there were no code changes) and then pushed it on the web site. Web site saw the changes but not simtools v3.

    @Wagnard,
A plugin can only have 1 offset file so it looks like the server copied over the new offset file and then copied the old one back over it. lol
Anyway, try simply removing the old offsets.xml file from the zip.
(So there is only one xml file in the zip is all, and then re-upload the update and you should be golden.)
    Thanks!

There was only 1 XML, I replaced the old one.
Do you mean I can only upload an XML file with the plugin upload?

So the '191_Offsets.xml' file was not in the zip when you uploaded it?
(as it should rename and new Offsets file uploaded back to '191_Offsets.xml' with the update)
Let me take a look on the server, maybe a bug..

Oh wait, my bad probably !! wrong file name and yeah it was there 2 times !! I just checked...

Edit: still do not update on the client tho...

Must I export the plugin every time or simply replacing the XML in the zip file is enough ?

No worries at all, this is a good bug to catch now, so I can have a check 2 xml files on the server.
(If you simply delete the old offsets in the zip, and upload the zip as an update, it should fix it.)
    Thanks!
