SimTools: no connection to arduino

    My Motion Simulator:
    DC motor, Arduino, 6DOF
    I tried to transfer all settings of SimTools to an other PC form my notebooks (which was working already as a two PC solution).
    Issue: SimTools does not communicate with Arduino.
    But: SMC3 utility communicates with Arduino.
    Settings of SimTools are equal to the notebook, COM is equal to SMC3, so while SMC3 works why SimTools does not?
    Did I forget something?
    New PC Windows 8 instead of Windows 7 (Notebook).

    I found the source of the issue but no solution yet - there is an electrical interference which causes a malfunction of the Arduino.

    if you suspect that the problem is from electric interference see if the psu is grounded or could change it if you have a spare.
